Before I moved to IL I used to walk my moms lab mix doggie. At that time he was 70 or 80 pounds, maybe more and the two of us would go across the street to an abandoned trailer part. Tinte would go after the mice. Dig 'em up, chomp, toss 'em aside, go on to the next one. I had more fun watching that pooch do that. Somewhere I have a pic of him digging one out. You can see the back half of him out in the open, his front half in the dirt digging with a shower of dirt going over his back.
Both mom and Tinte are gone now and I can't have a dog were we are currently. When we leave here that is one of my priorities, get a dawg.
