As promised, here's a picture of my current project. I'm assembling rows at the moment - five to go and the middle piece of my quilt top is done. I think I'll get two done today. I'm doing everything by hand, so the pace isn't fast, but I enjoy the process. The picture is of the already assembled rows laid out on the floor in order. You can already see the Irish Chain pattern emerge.

This was the second quilt I ever started (and to date I've only finished one, although I've got a lot of UFOs) and there's some beauty flaws. Especially my cutting is not as exact as it should be, which is why it's a very good thing I'm doing this by hand - more room to correct! But I have to say, I quite like the qay it's turning out.
