If you are able to, if they offer it to you, get the franklin.
I have the franklin, it is also a good machine! It's a clone of your singer, and good to have for extra parts, if you decide to use the machine.. I want one of those singers someday.
Old machines are like Potato Chips.. You can't have just one!(I have 12)
