Why not keep with your colour scheme? Just add in some more pinks (off white pink thru to cherry), likewise different greys, charcoal, blacks and whites. It'll make for a beautiful quilt!!
Why feel you have to do the same as the rest of the group?
There is nothing wrong with beign unique. In fact it is admirable!
