I've used a lot of PUL in my sewing life! I sewed at least 100 diapers for my kids and others, ending about 3 years ago. The right side of the PUL is the fabric side. It isn't really meant for the laminate side to show. I'm not sure how it would handle being exposed when washed. My diapers were PUL outers, with the fabric facing out, and a microfleece inner. The laminate was sandwiched between the two. I hope that makes sense. I have a head cold and am feeling pretty out of it today.
