Love it!
thank you all so much. The face for the monkey I bought at embroidery.com, the name is abmo15 and it stitched great on my embroidery machine.

I copie the text of post #37:

It looks much harder than it is! All you need are 42 paper pieced snail trail blocks, one of the easiest blocks for paper piecing.

Only the center is slightly different: instead of a fourpatch you add a triangle - look at the pic and you will see what I mean.

In my case 14 brown/grey and another 14 in brown/grey as mirror image to the first 14 and 7 in orange/grey and again 7 mirror images of that.
If you look at the legs you can see that they are all the same: two turning to the right, two to the left.

I printed the paper piecing templates and colored one of each categorie by hand and then copied the number needed. Then I put it on the floor, was able to see the monkeys and sewed one by one. The last row of triangles I pinned to it and then I could see which four had to go together for the bodies ore the background.
Well, I guess I can sew better than explaining..........lol

It was really not hard and I hope some of you try it out. Or maybe somebody comes up with frogs out of the same pattern! lol
