It sounds like with 31 pinwheels and 32 16 patches, you are making a quilt 7 blocks wide and 9 blocks tall, for a total of 63 blocks. You could up it to 9 x 11, and make a total of 99 blocks. Then you'd be at 72" x 88", plus borders.

Or, if you are out of fabric, you could stick with the original blocks and just get creative with the borders.
