YES! I bought mine at Joann's (using the 40% off coupon) and it was only about $5. It is made for people who have fingernails. It is a metal open-sided thimble, which means it lacks the top that encloses the finger. I love it, even when my nails are short, and can't imagine ever going back to a regular thimble.
