Fortyniner- so far I love my quantum. I have had it for only about 5 months but I have sewn my heart out and quilted two quilts on it! No problems yet! Like you I haven't found the need yet to mess around with all of the 600 different stitch types yet
my favorite features are the top load bobbin and the automatic thread cutter! I hope to someday in the future purchase a long arm machine to quilt on and use my quantum for piecing
I taught myself how to sew and how to quilt on a Singer so purchasing another Singer seemed like a good purchase especially considering the price of the machine on Amazon! I hope you like your quantum!
