What a trooper you are! It's great to be looking out for your DW's comfort. But I have one more suggestion: How about learning to do a few quilting tasks, thus helping her with her stack of UFO's and also being a quilting companion to her. I wish my DH were more interested in the process BUT, in the meantime, I'll bet you'll get good advice from the quilter's here. Good luck!
