Western Show Wear - anyone have experience?
Yesterday my niece contacted me to help her sew some shirts/jackets for showing her 8mo old horse come spring. I have no info on the rules of these things and some of the fabric challenges I see have me a bit hesitant. I would love to find a mentor, just someone who says, you can't do that or it's ok to do this. Someone with some experience in beading on lycra, mounting stones and jewels on whatever, lycra, light weight leather etc. Apparently the more the glitz the better. I love doing costumes, but this is a whole new world for me. I'm full of ideas! Woke up this morning thinking about the feeling you get when you see Julie Andrews in the Sound Of Music.
