Now to tell you a little more about the BBs I sent out to all of you.
Sadly, I did not take a picture of the ones I sent, though I did do a group shot of the ones I made. You see, I got carried away, and have visions of a scrappy quilt, done using that block and keeping it subtly patriotic. So the overflow will be well used! As though I needed another project, right?
Before the reveal, I had shared that my BB was simple, but symbolic. I chose the
Double Friendship Star, for the two friends! The fabrics were chosen for that representation ... one point of the star specifically for the recipient, coordinating with their PC or a colour I knew they liked or something special I knew about them. The other point was for me. The background is the text fabric for our National Anthem, O Canada which I first showcased when I made Monty last year. And the maple leaf centre, just subtly Canadian, to help you remember it's from me!
Hope that you all like them and can find a home for them in a special project.
