Sorry, I'm not a photographer! And how to label pictures???
1. Template on charm square
2. Cut kite on paper foundation - I do NOT glue this down. Could pin if needed, but I don't...
3. Sew on first white corner
4. Fold back first white corner
5. Add second white corner
6. Fold back second white corner
7. Flip over; trim white to size of paper foundation (I forgot to take a picture before I peeled the paper off, so just laid another paper on top and kind of scored it where the stitching would have been).
8. My poor attempt at a close up of the back of the point, showing 1/4" seam
9. Quarter of the block finished - trimmed and paper removed
10. Close up of that 1/4" seam - no lopped points! In the picture, that doesn't look like 1/4", so I went back and measured. It really is, not sure why it looks off.
So repeat that 3 more times. Sew together. Imagine the (blurry) picture below with yellow in the center (where my red is) and white where the strings are. My Spider Web is red white and blue, with gold in the center of the web.
Really quite easy, and fast, too!
