I have found that most machine repair will not work on the Necchi machines, you may want to call one close to you and ask about these machines being sold in mass like this from the sale. I have good and bad things about Necchi sewing machines. The manager of a Hancock's Fabric store would let the truck set up in the parking lot. He told me If you can get the machine the person is demoing on then you will get a good machine. And if they will not let you open the box, try it out, do not buy it. The excuse will be no room, insurance factor, not allowed, no electrical, SPEAK up and say, unplug your machine and plug in one from the box and you demo on that. If the sales person won't to that, then take your money and run and take everyone there with you.
