I am quilting a Warm and Natural batting about 6" apart. Will this be enough for a quilt that may get a lot of machine washing, or should I add more quilting?

I'm trying to do a simple grid pattern to get the quilt done quickly, and just started to wonder if it would hold up well to washes.
