Default A few scrappy quilts

In the summer of 2012, a friend asked me if I would like some squares of fabric that she had cut for her mom to make quilts with. Well, her Mom never got them sewn, and she wanted to find a home for the fabric, and I said that I would make use of it. So, she dropped off 3 tubs, about 15x30 and 2 tubs, about 12x20. One of the larger tubs was full of uncut pieces of fabric, and all the rest were cut blocks, 2.5--3.5--& 4.5 inch squares. Wow, what a gift. So, I got busy and am going to post some of the finished quilts that I have done.
This first one I am giving to the friend who gave me all the material.

This next one goes to my boss, who is a great boss to work for.

This one went to my son in law, for Christmas.

This last one doesn't really have a home to go to yet, but think it will be given away at the family reunion in July, and I will just use the boys' names.

I will use scrappy fleece for the backing and use the dark blue for the binding, but just wanted to include it here. I also have 4 others at varying stages of completion, and by the amount of squares I still have in tubs, I figure that I can probably make another 6 to 10 quilts, and that isn't even touching the uncut fabric. Am I just too lucky? As I read someplace, my stash is STABLE=Stash Accumulated Beyond Life Expectancy. Never thought I would say that. LOL
