She is taking her job as quilt inspector very diligently! Can you shoo her out of the room and close the door? IF not, maybe you can make her her own little quilt and put it on the cutting table or ironing board or chair in the room while you sew. Tempt her to lay on it and stay on it by giving her treats. Mine has yet to come up on the kitchen table when I sew, but she does sleep on one of the chairs while I am working. And if I use the floor to lay out blocks or make my quilt sandwich, well, she has to inspect it and there is just not getting around it. I love my cat and she lets me live with her! LOL
