It will be an exotic looking quilt - very interesting. Someone with a modern style would probably snap it up. Contrary to some other opinions, I think I would keep the parts big enough to be recognizable in this case, as in your mirrored version - otherwise it would waste the main thing that's interesting about it. I love the way the center white bird looks like a star. Maybe you could use all black or all white as background, with just a few large (fussy cut) OBW bird blocks floating on it. The quilting could then be bird shapes all over, maybe in teal thread. I'm looking forward to seeing what you decide to do!
