wash, dry, then iron before shelving, or if I am using it immediately, I starch and let soak in, then iron.
I feel that if I "press", before cutting, that if it is going to shrink any more, or distort or whatever, it is far better to do it, before I have made a cut.
I am probably the only one that handles my pieces like they are glass and might break if I drop them. I don't make them stiff, so I don't want to stretch them.
I suppose in time, I will get more comfortable. I cringe every time I see a picture with a pet on it. I keep thinking that the weight is going to stretch or warp the project! :shock:
I guess not, or ppl would be freaking out. I never hear them doing that :mrgreen:
