The box of clips from a quilting shop we found is cheaper than buying from chemist for hair. I find they hold in better than straight pins but I do like the wonderclipswhich grip fabric. You only need a few to but binding in place 12 inches in front of stitching. Although in desperation have used bulldog clips.
