gus, saw your posts last nite about sewing just up to the corner, stopping, checking to make sure it was going to line up. So when i sat my lst kite today, your demo was in the back of my mind. i basted to the last tri to 1/4 in of the corner, it lined up, so i sewed it. the right side , i basted the last tri to within 1" of the corner and i needed to adjust the ease just a little, so, did, then sewed the last tri and kite right up to the corner. thx for the demo. can't believe it worked out the lst time without having to 'unsew' it.the seam doesn't look straight along the right side of the kite, but it is. the quilt was hanging, and i just pulled the bottom edge over to the ping pong table and laid just the corner out to photo it. thx gus.
