Gus, did you trim the kite to size? Or are you leaving that until you are assembling it? I think I understand your tips and especially love the one your mom taught you (using two threads).
QuiltnnNan, all of your blocks are terrific!! Sorry about the move, but I'm sure you'll be glad when it's over. At least you'll get away from those neighbors and hopefully get settled in quickly afterwards and be quilting regularly. We'll miss seeing your blocks, thoughts with you.
