Just up the mountain out of Boulder, is an old mining town called Gold Hill. decades ago my hubby worked the bar at the Inn there after his day job in Denver. The first time he took me up there, i noticed long stretches of No Guard Rails. That woke me up! it's a cute mining town with dirt streets and board walks. The Inn with great meals and a Hotel next door.
