I like sampler quilts because I get bored of making the same blocks over and over.
I really hope that you quilt it yourself, and step out of your comfort zone, that is the only way to get better. You might be pleasantly surprised with what you accomplish! The second QA quilt has lots more ideas for quilting, plus it is smaller - you might want to quilt that one first. Good luck!
