I absolutely love the fabric. It'll make a fabulous obw. Can't wait to see the finished quilt.
I know what you mean about having small 'side' projects to do when working on a more complex project. Sometimes you just have to have a change of pace or you'll burn out. I usually make a pillow case then, or put together a charity quilt using a panel as the center.
