As a civilian who works on a Base, what has happened is beyond comprehension. I interact with military folks all the time and can't express how special they are, especially when it comes to family and cohesiveness as a group. How can "one of their own" do such a thing? Was it the shooter's attempt at "suicide by cop" that we hear about? My heart goes out to all involved and their families.
