Almost 30 years ago I came to this country from Germany to live with my Aunt and Uncle for a year as an Exchange student. One day, my cousin asked me to fix the small rip in the seam of one of his dress shirts and I obliged by sewing it closed with a hand needle...while sitting on his waterbed!!!
