hidden wells is a good one. i have made a few of them. good for strip peicing. it is similar to the pattern u have been looking at already.
The more I think about this one, the more I like it too. It can be made to be very striking or very understated. Striking is closer to what I'm going for. We tend to like bold pieces for our house.
