alaskasunshine Yes they are hand appliqued but I used fray check on the edges and also used Steam a Seam 2 to hold them in place while stitching. One thing I did do thanks to
mamaw suggestion, I used Valdani pearl cotton size 12 instead of Embroidery floss. What a dream to use and did not knot as the floss does.
