I have a very good friend who just loves her Scotties so much. For her Christmas present i decided to make her a wall hanging. I cannot remember having so much fun making something for someone. I asked her for one of her husbands "old" checked shirts as i wanted to incorporate this into the wall hanging to make it even more special. Another friend posted me this magazine "Quilts Japan" and when i saw this pattern, i had to make it. I had to resize and draw my own patterns as there are around 25 patterns mixed together on one page. This did not stop me. The only thing i could understand was the numbers as they were in cms, so the instructions i had to just guess from the pictures. All worked out very well
I could not resist making her a Scotty stuffed toy as well with a lovely quilted jacket/blanket. (Sorry it is not completed in this picture and i do not have a photo of the completed toy) I hope you enjoy looking at the different fabrics. She has now got two Schnauzer, so i have added them into the wall hanging as well.
