I also wanted to share my first wall hanging or mini quilt? I chose to make beehives and bees for this swap because I thought it would be easier to make the extra I wanted for this project. It's for a friend whose husband orders beehive/bees for their property. It was fun to make as I tried out some free motion ideas I learned at a class recently.
New skills acquired in the last year = paper piecing and free motion quilting. Much practice needed but having fun and that's all I care about!
