I don't know if that's what she means, but I do think that makes sense. That way, theoretically, you could have the quilt made ahead of time, add the hands as they come in, and if you have a few stragglers, no big deal, quilt is waiting for them.

My mistake - my kids made quilt blocks. I was going to put them together. Well, I procrastinated... the last 2 days before school got out (please note, I had 9 weeks allocated), I put all 55 quilt blocks together. My boyfriend helped me as much as he could, and we spent many hours on this. So I would suggest, if you're a procrastinator like me, do something as simple as possible and do it as early as possible
