I was married in 1966 and yes there were the dolls on the wedding cars. I remember them well and every bride of the day had dolls on their cars dressed to match the bride and bridesmaids.
I also remember the bed dolls. At one time they were dressed in printed plastic fabric and dresses made from coloured foam sheeting as well as being dressed in fine fabrics.
My wedding doll was and early barbie doll which I have now given to my daughter.
