I got a H74 for Christmas and didn't start using it until a month ago and it is awful. I can't get the tension right what ever I do. I can't return since I waited so long to start using it. I have e-mails and calls to Singer. I would not buy one unless you have a Singer Sewing Center close that can help on this. We bought ours through Tuesday Morning. I am going back to my $80 Janome and that is 100% better!
