I have some originals in size 18, they went through the denim like it was tissue paper. I also have some of the MY1014s and they work great, but are smaller. I just need a source that's easy to access and that has the bigger sizes.
I have some DBx1s too, I'll remember to try them when next I use that machine.
Strangely enough my other 9W-7 has been altered to use the 15x1 needles, yet it will still use the 127x1s. All you have to remember is to keep the flat to the left.
