Fabulous book and challenge for myself
I just bought 101 Fabulous Small Quilts by That Patchwork Place. I have set myself a challenge to make 99 of the 101 quilts with my scrap fabric and stash. So far I have made 8 1/2. Takes 1-2 days for each one.
Note: There are two appliqued quilts I don't like so that is how I got to 99.
In the very first quilt, I learned a new technique. Tomorrow, I have to finish one basket block and put the 18 X 18 inch quilt together. I based the colors around a sunflower fat quarter I have had for a long time. It is so much fun.
When I quilt these and get the binding on, there is so much I can do with them. Gifts, table toppers, wall quilts, quilt guild donations, etc. So far it has barely made any dent in my scraps.
