That seems a lot but I think many machines are not as readily avialable. Without seeing it and based on your description it sounds like I would pay $35-$60 US. Does it have all the parts? Are there extra feet and bobbins? Does it have a reverse? the older ones don't. That said I really like the 99 and would like to have one with reverse.Only you can really determine the real value. If you have to have it and you have the money, maybe go for it and don't look back.
