Default Making your machine as FMQ as possible

I have read and researched so many tips on setting up your machine for FMQ, a lot of them cost quite a few pennies but the one I like best, and gives me the best results is the cheapest, believe it or not!

It was only yesterday I realized how effective it was as last November I shelled out megabucks for a new machine and other than a charity quilt I haven't done a FMQ quilt project so I setup my machine to do my Brother's Birthday quilt, so I automatically did what I normally do, like polishing all the surfaces with a good quality silicone furniture polish, the difference was amazing, I didn't realize just how much it helps until I did it on this brand new machine.

Forget all those fancy slip covers etc; just a good polish with a silicone furniture polish and the quilt glides like Torvill and Dean on ice, honest it really works.

I am about a third way through and am quite pleased with the results, will post a pic before I post it
