Like someone else said, this isn't a Red Eye. The price seems a little high to me. I bought a 1910 Red Eye with a perfect wood case (although missing the key) for $35 yesterday from the Peddler's Mall in my town. It has all the parts and runs like a dream. I already had 12 machines - this makes #13. I was NOT looking for another machine!! Prices do seem to vary a lot - even around me but I've found that if I have patience, the right price will come along. I've bought 3 treadles (2 Singers and 1 New Home) for $40 each for 2 of them and $50 for the other one while I've seen them listed for $150-400 with lots of rust and missing parts - not to mention cabinets is horrible condition. One of mine was missing the bobbin cover - it was easy to find on ebay. The others all had all their parts and they all run well. It is addictive!!!
