I'm with you sewmary, I use a bog standard polish, Lidl's own which has no colouring but is a good product. I have used it for over 6 years and have had no problems with it at all. I also use Lidl's own multi-purpose wipes for general cleaning of my quilting area including my machine but especially for my rulers, it is brill for those
