Your Singer 99K takes the standard household needle (15x1) just as the Featherweight does.
The Damascus takes a 20x1 needle. The 20x1 is about 4mm longer than the 15x1. The 15x1 will work if you lower the needle down about 4 mm before tightening the needle clamp.
