Italian Sausage Soup
Brown 1 lb Italian sausage of choice
Toss in a chopped onion and however much garlic you like
Add
1 can black beans
1 can white beans
1 can diced tomatoes
1 can chicken broth
Simmer until flavors meld
Sprinkle in dried basil to taste
For variation we sometimes add dried cheese tortalini (sp?) while it simmers
