i've used paypal for years with no problems. you can either tell the person by email how much to send or you can use the "request money" button at the paypal website. just follow the steps and instructions:

you will pay a tiny fee if the person sending the money has PayPal deduct it from their bank account using their debit card or credit card. i'd rather pay the 30 cents than wait for a check to come in the mail, drive to the bank, and hope it doesn't bounce.
