help finding bread pudding recipe
My late mother made what she called bread pudding that she baked in a bread pan and it came out shaped like a loaf of bread that we sliced. Once baked, the bread wasn't obvious. I wish I had asked her for the recipe, but, of course, it's too late now.
I'm hoping someone can provide me with a similar recipe.
She came from Maine, so, her version might be regional.
I remember that she used stale white bread, sugar, raisins, molasses, and, I think an egg and maybe milk. She might have put some kind of spice in too, but can't remember.
Hope someone can help..I'd love to taste her delicious version again. It would be an old recipe as she
would have been 98 this year.
