Default Quilt for Cousin

Just finished a quilt requested by a cousin. She wanted a yellow brick road look and the the cherry border fabric. She left the other fabric choices up to me - that was a challange, as I wasn't in love with the cherries! I already had Eleanor Burns' Fabric Frenzy pattern for the quilt front. In an effort to use up as many of the fabrics as possible I did a giant chevron back - then made a two-sided carry tote to store the quilt in. I have only a 2x4 inch piece left of the cherries and odd chunks of the others. I named the quilt "Life is a Bowl Full" and quilted it on my DSM. The cherry fabric did finally grow on me.
