Two New Scrappy Quilts
The idea for these two quilts was inspired by a photo here on the board. It was posted by Iris P. and titled Square Coins Scrappy. I can't find that posting now or I would provide a link to it beacause it was so pretty.
Anyway, this is my versions of her scrappy quilt. First is a lap quilt, and Iris' quilt had cornerstone made with smaller squares. I made them also, then decided not to use them in the lap quilt.

The mini quilt was made with 1-1/2 strips for finished coins of 3". The applique was also inpired by Iris putting Sunflower on her quilt. I wanted some little something for the mini quilt so cut the butterflies out of fabric and fused them on and then machine appliques to the top.
