There are many recipes out there that are very tasty. I will say that the best I have eaten incorporate all kinds of breads: stale donuts, french bread, bagels, wheat bread. They just need to be slightly stale to make a good dessert. One restaurant that had the best bread pudding used all their breads and donuts etc from the day before. They made a drizzley white frosting that was delicious and almost all have cinnamon/raisins and nuts.
