The black & red was my original plan; I decided to make the other side 'spring-ish' to get the most out of my time. (I had to quilt it either way, might as well make it reversible.)
You have NO idea how much of a headache the spring side was! I cut the squares (equal of each) and started to plan the layout. I couldn't get it right without any of the same material touching each other! So DH suggested I use an extra of the pink, and it brought it all together.
