I'm so sorry,sewnsewer2. It's my fault that you're confused. My directions were poor. The finished block is 6x8",
NOT 8x8".
Go back and look at Lucy's mock up. Look at the yellow block....that is my block.
Each square is 1" and the
darker black line represents the block.
