Default PEACOCK PROUD--S&W, 4-Patch Posey, & Octogons

From the first time I saw this wonderful fabric, all I could think about was S&W and variations. I wanted to keep the peacock intact and highlight it. I had a design worked up but for reasons I won't elaborate on, it didn't work out and this is what I came up with. I wanted to showcase the infinite beauty of this fabric. I used the 4-patch posey idea to make the windmills so that all the blades were centered on a point in the fabric, then used hexagons for the next round and finally the octogons for the final round of blocks. This is the top only and I can't wait for the longarm lady to do her magic. I have swavorski crystals to bling it up after the quilting is done. I hope you like it as I have liked all the other variations of this fabric that has been posted. If you have any ideas for quilting designs, I would like to hear them. May you all have a wonderful, blessed Resurrection Sunday.
